Dr. Varun Bajaj, PDPM Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing, Jabalpur, India Email: varunb@iiitdmj.ac.in

Prof G.R. Sinha, Myanmar Institute of Information Technology Mandalay Myanmar.Email: gr_sinha@miit.edu.mm

Book will publish in  https://iopscience.iop.org/bookListInfo/physics-engineering-medicine-biology-series

The book provides modelling of biomedical signals for understanding physiology, which can help to improve healthcare system for diagnosis and identification of disorder related to human organs. Therefore, the need of the book arises to better understand the human organs behaviours, concepts, fundamentals, principles, case studies and many more about healthcare system so that future research could be made better and strengthened. Biomedical signals applications will be used extensively in huge number of research work and real time applications in improvement of healthcare system using Science, Engineering and Technology.

This Volume of the book provides the framework for modelling, concepts, and applications of bio-potential signal processing. The book also emphasizes the real challenges in bio-potential signal processing due to complex and non-stationary nature of signals for variety of applications for analysis, classification and identification of different states for improvement of healthcare systems. Each chapter starts with the description of a biomedical example and the need and motivation of the methods with discussions to connect the technology with understanding of human organs. This also provides the information of identification diseases such as   neurodegenerative diseases, Heart Abnormality using PCG Signal etc. Moreover, the chapters can be read independently by research scholars, R&D engineers and graduate students who wish to explored research in field of biomedical engineering. The edited book will be publishing in IOP Series in Physics and Engineering in Medicine and Biology.

Tentative Content (but not limited): Modelling of Biopotential Signals for automatic identification, classification, analysis of biomedical signals such as EEG, ECG, EMG, PCG, COP, EOG, MRI, FMRI etc. for diagnosis of any disorder and physiological states of modern signal processing techniques with experimental and analytic result. Scientists, researchers, academicians, research scholars and others working in the field of Biomedical signal and Image Processing are requested to express their interest by writing to us at varunb@iiitdmj.ac.in and gr_sinha@miit.edu.mm.
